*Topic: Have you inquire of God?*
*Text: Ezekiel 20:1-40*📖
*🔑Key Verse: Ezekiel 20:1*
*"And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of the LORD, and sat before me."*

👉The very wise amongst us feels the act of inquiring from God is old school and no longer necessary in this modern age.

👉Often time when we want to make important decisions, we consult our friends, professors, parents, godfathers etc who give us nice suggestions first before praying that God perfect plans we don't even know if He is in support of.

👉Then only remember our Creator when the plan fails or seems not to be working.

👉One good culture we all need to learn from our patriarchs and matriarchs is the act of consulting God before we make any significant decision in our lives.

👉People like David, Moses, Joshua, Rebekah, Jehoshaphat to mention but a few inquired of God for direction all their lives and never regretted.

👉Isaac and Rebekah inquired of the Lord about the twins struggling with each other in her womb and her fears subsided *(Genesis 25:22-23).*

👉The sons of Israel went up Bethel to inquire of God before going into battle and God answered them *(Judges:20:18).*

👉The prophets and priests are usually consulted when we want to hear from God.
But this is not the only means through which we can hear from God.

👉God can speak to you through dreams, the scripture or even trance. He can also speak through anyone at any time He wishes.

👉However, lack of patience had lured people into  consulting magicians and foul powers for favourable answers. Truth be told  king Saul and Ahaziah who tried never recovered of their illness till death.

     *Ponder on these...*
👌When you inquire of God concerning you plans, you are invariably telling Him to partner with you.

👌So many today, parade themselves as men and women of God. Rather than fall victim, go into your secret place and wait upon God.

👌As many that will seek Him in truth and spirit, He will reveal Himself unto them *(psalm 145:18).*

👌Its time to concentrate all that energy you would use to move from pillar to post in search of answer to seek God on your own.

👌People encountered Him one on one in the past and are still doing so still date.

*KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Friday, May 15 2020.* *Topic: The fire on the altar.* *Text: Leviticus 6:9-13*📖 *🔑Key verse:Leviticus 6:13* *"(6:2) Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt-offering: it is that which goeth up on its firewood upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereby."* 👉The essence of the command that burnt offering shall continually be upon the altar is a significant of God's eternal reign. This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. 🔑The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? 👉To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. 👉While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. *KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Sunday, May 10 2020.* *Topic: Let your land honour God.* *Text: Leviticus 25:1-end*📖 *🔑Key verse: Leviticus 25:2* *Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.* 👉Oftentimes when God instructs us on a thing to do, they seem difficult at a glance. God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? 👉We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. 👉Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. 👉Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read........... When you get that possession you so much...
