*Topic: Is God always transactional?*
*Text: 1kings 6:1-38*
*Key verse: 1 Kings 6:12*
*"As for this house which thou art building, if thou wilt walk in My statutes, and execute Mine ordinances, and keep all My commandments to walk in them; then will I establish My word with thee, which I spoke unto David thy father;"*

👉Anyone who thinks he is a guru in business should check again because I haven't seen  any one as business minded as God.
Is God always transactional in His dealings with man? You do need to think through before you give a quick answer to that anyways.

👉From the onset, Adonai made promises to Abraham and his descendants. He further entered into covenant with them *(Leviticus 26:9)* and commanded blessings that is dependant on fulfillment of your own contract with Him.

👉God made it clear to Solomon that the building of the temple which has attracted a lot of blessings to him does not give him right to err against His command. Meaning you can not use one truth to suppress another.

👉Oftentimes when we manage to keep two commandments out of all we tend to focus only on it leaving others. Well to shock you, God does not operate that way. Some will obey status and forget to keep the ordinance and judgement *(Exodus 28:1*), however Adonai demands for total obedience.

        *Ponder on these...*
👌The scripture is full of conditional promises. This means for every result you seek, you do have to play your part.

👌When God says it will be well with you, if you honour your parents, He is conditional *(Ephesians 6:2).*

👌When He says He will direct you if you trust him without leaning on your own understanding, He is conditional *(Proverbs 3:5).*

👌When He promises you rest, until you draw near to Him,  your rest is not assured. He is conditional  *(Matthew 11:28).*

👌When He says honour me and I will honour you, He is conditional *(1Samuel 2:30)*

👌When He says you shall eat the good of the land, until you are obedient, you are definitely on your own *(Isaiah 1:19).* Is He not conditional.

👌You might say what then happens to grace.
But I tell you without an effort made to obey God you will not find grace. The petitions of heart comes when you delight in the LORD *(Psalm 37:4).*
God's promises are indeed conditional. It's based on agreement.

      *Prayer point...*🙇‍♀
I will remain steadfast and immovable because the LORD has granted me rest on every side. I will continually abide in His grace   and always sing His praise forever. Amen🙏

       *Shalom !*

And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.* 👉When people interpret the passages of the Bible concerning the judgement of God, they tend to present it in a way to show that God is wicked and unforgiving because of judgements He introduced to enforce sanctity. 👉And then it is the coming of His son that brought mercy, as if God is no longer merciful. But in all our thinking, we must note that man can not be more merciful or righteous than God. 👉People were asked how a nation would be without constitution, and below were their responses: 1. In the absence of a constitution it will be difficult for a country to sustain itself in a long run. 2.Justice will be denied to the people and a chaotic si...

This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. 🔑The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? 👉To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. 👉While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. Pray without ceasing. ...

God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? 👉We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. 👉Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. 👉Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read........... When you get that possession you so much...
