*"But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die."*

👉During the census on Jewish men in preparation for their conscription in the Jewish army, the tribe of Levi were exempted because they had special service to render in the Tabernacle.

Today's message is centered on the duty given to the Kohathites.

👉Of the four main divisions among the Levites as written in the scripture, were....
1. The Gershonites
2. The Merarites
3. The Aaronites
4. The Kohathites

*Who are the Kohathites?*

👉Kohath, was the second son of Levi and grandfather of Moses, Aaron and Miriam *(Numbers 26:58-59).*

👉His brothers were Gershon and Merari *(Genesis 46:11, Exodus 6:16).*

👉They were kept in charge of the most sacred utensils, objects, the Ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars and screen which they geared on their shoulder.

👉It was also recorded that they served during the reign of king David *(1Chronicles 6:16-31).*

👉They also supervised the renovation of the Temple which was the project of king Josiah.

👉The Kohathites were instructed to mind their domain and not trespass by taking up the task not meant for them. The consequence was death.

👌Take your time to discover the special duty assigned to you because when you deviate, you invite God's riot.

👌Also consider the collective goal your family, team, group are set to achieve and contribute your quota.

👌Another good principle of leadership is the ability to work with the led as a team.
God taught Moses, division of labour.

Thus, discover your domain!

*KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Friday, May 15 2020.* *Topic: The fire on the altar.* *Text: Leviticus 6:9-13*📖 *🔑Key verse:Leviticus 6:13* *"(6:2) Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt-offering: it is that which goeth up on its firewood upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereby."* 👉The essence of the command that burnt offering shall continually be upon the altar is a significant of God's eternal reign. This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. 🔑The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? 👉To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. 👉While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. *KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Sunday, May 10 2020.* *Topic: Let your land honour God.* *Text: Leviticus 25:1-end*📖 *🔑Key verse: Leviticus 25:2* *Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.* 👉Oftentimes when God instructs us on a thing to do, they seem difficult at a glance. God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? 👉We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. 👉Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. 👉Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read...........
