*Topic: What lies have you inherited?*
*Text: Jeremiah 16:1-20📖*
*🔑Key verse: Jeremiah 16:19*
*"O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit."*

👉Prophet Jeremiah gave prophecy concerning a time when the unbelievers shall return to their creator and confess truly that they have inherited lies and have dwelt in darkness.

👉When a little child cry and you tell him that ojuju will come for him that child stops crying because he believed your lies.
That...... was on a lighter note.

👉Female children from some part of the country are circumcised. Is this norm approved by God? No, but when you ask their parents they tell you they inherited such way of life from their parents.

👉The prophet said the Gentiles shall discover they have lived with lies all their lives.
But today, falsehood has dwelt among the believers so much so that they are perceived as truth.

If I may ask, do you know what these lies are?

What lies have you inherited yet decided to live with it?

What lie have you accepted just because majority perceives it to be true?

👉We were told that Sunday is the day of worship.
While the ordained holy day for worship is Saturday being the Sabbath *(Exodus 20:10).*

👉We were given festivals of the heathen as appointed times (festivals such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc) were introduced to replace the original *(Daniel 7:25).*
While God's appointed times were clearly documented for generations to continually keep the memorial *(Leviticus 23).*

👉We were told every thing created by God is fit for consumption...... and today Ebola, laser fever and corona virus has become our neighbours.
 *(Leviticus 11)*

We were told that the law has passed away..... Yet we have prisons in our community.
Yet the words of God stands forever *(Isaiah 40:8).*
     
   *Ponder on these...*
👌When Jesus was asked about the coming of the messiah, he said..." take heed that no man deceive you." *(Mathew 24:4)*

👌That a majority accepts falsehood would never make it right. Throughout history God's people have always been in the minority.

👌If you indeed are interested in the salvation of your soul, then be ready to learn and unlearn. Let the scripture be your guide in all things.

O Lord am ready to learn and unlearn to walk in righteousness, continually expose me to the truth that will set me free. Amen 🙏

*KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Friday, May 15 2020.* *Topic: The fire on the altar.* *Text: Leviticus 6:9-13*📖 *🔑Key verse:Leviticus 6:13* *"(6:2) Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt-offering: it is that which goeth up on its firewood upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereby."* 👉The essence of the command that burnt offering shall continually be upon the altar is a significant of God's eternal reign. This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. 🔑The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? 👉To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. 👉While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. *KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Sunday, May 10 2020.* *Topic: Let your land honour God.* *Text: Leviticus 25:1-end*📖 *🔑Key verse: Leviticus 25:2* *Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.* 👉Oftentimes when God instructs us on a thing to do, they seem difficult at a glance. God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? 👉We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. 👉Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. 👉Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read...........
