Managing distraction

*Text: Genesis 2:1-17*📖
*🔑Key Verse:Genesis 2:17*
*[17]But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.*

👉At the garden of Eden, the lord created an  attraction and aslo created a distraction.
He advised them to manage every other tree in the garden but avoid just one.

👉I have always thought that God would have hidden the tree of knowledge from their eyes if He so wished to make life simple.

👉However He left it, to see if man could manage the power of choice given him. Meaning life would be easier for you if you chose to make it so.

👉From the garden, it was proven that every attraction also has a distraction around it. 
Thus making life a choice tussle................
Your ability to avoid distraction and focus on the main attraction makes you a winner.

👉Whatever event, situation or thing that can lure you away from your main focus or attraction at a particular point in time is a distraction.

At times they are presented to us in form of pleasures, tests or trial to see how we can manage them and remain focused.

👉Distractions can not be chained and    bounded because they were intentionally   created by God to mould man into a better being.
 
The Almighty God commanded.......................
Deuteronomy 6:4-5
*[4]Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:*
*[5]And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.*

     *Ponder on these...*
 👌 The above statement is our attraction and focus till eternity. Every decision we make in life should be surrounded with this word as our guide.

Hence working outside this guide is distraction and its end is disastrous.

👌Be you a student, career man, minister, husband, wives, distractions abound to deprive you of the golden crown which awaits every faithful servant.

      *How do you avoid distractions?*
1. Always reveal your identity where ever you go.

2. Always meditate on God's word because it will help you remain focused.

   *Prayer point...*🙇‍♀🙇‍♀
Give me the grace o Lord to overcome every form of distraction surrounding my purpose.
Help me to remain focus come rain or sunshine. 🙏

*KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Friday, May 15 2020.* *Topic: The fire on the altar.* *Text: Leviticus 6:9-13*📖 *🔑Key verse:Leviticus 6:13* *"(6:2) Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt-offering: it is that which goeth up on its firewood upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereby."* 👉The essence of the command that burnt offering shall continually be upon the altar is a significant of God's eternal reign. This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. 🔑The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? 👉To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. 👉While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. *KOSHER*🍧🥗🍹 *Sunday, May 10 2020.* *Topic: Let your land honour God.* *Text: Leviticus 25:1-end*📖 *🔑Key verse: Leviticus 25:2* *Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.* 👉Oftentimes when God instructs us on a thing to do, they seem difficult at a glance. God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? 👉We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. 👉Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. 👉Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read...........
