*Topic: You shall not be ashamed.*
*Text: Isaiah 29:22*
*๐Ÿ”‘Key verse:*
*"Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob* *shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale".*

๐Ÿ‘‰The Hebrew verb translated comfort (nacham) means to console or calm down someone.
The lord called Isaiah to bring words of comfort to His people to inform them that the days of punishment are over, and the time of pardon has begun.

๐Ÿ‘‰The lord might have struck you with His left hand but is consoling you and drawing you closer with His right hand.

๐Ÿ‘‰Have you lost all you struggled for over the years and is starting life afresh?

๐Ÿ‘‰Have you been inflicted with terminal disease that has made you lost hope of survival?

๐Ÿ‘‰Are you at the verge of divorce in you marital life?

๐Ÿ‘‰Have you waited so long for a breakthrough that people perceive you as suffering from a coursed?

๐Ÿ‘‰Do you look at your present condition and you are ashamed of what you have become?

๐Ÿ‘‰Have you incurred so much debt that have made you loose your worth amongst your friends?

๐Ÿ‘‰The word of God unto you is "calm down".He has promised to change all of these situations that you will no longer be ashamed.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The book of *Isaiah 40:4-5 says:*
*"Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the rugged shall be made level, and the rough places a plain;*
*and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it".*

   *Ponder on these...*
God doesn't enjoy seeing us suffer, all He needs from us is commitment.

   *Prayer point...*๐Ÿ™‡‍♀
I rejoice today because all my shame has been turned to glory. God I thank you for this recovery.๐Ÿ™

And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.* ๐Ÿ‘‰When people interpret the passages of the Bible concerning the judgement of God, they tend to present it in a way to show that God is wicked and unforgiving because of judgements He introduced to enforce sanctity. ๐Ÿ‘‰And then it is the coming of His son that brought mercy, as if God is no longer merciful. But in all our thinking, we must note that man can not be more merciful or righteous than God. ๐Ÿ‘‰People were asked how a nation would be without constitution, and below were their responses: 1. In the absence of a constitution it will be difficult for a country to sustain itself in a long run. 2.Justice will be denied to the people and a chaotic si...

God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? ๐Ÿ‘‰We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. ๐Ÿ‘‰Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. ๐Ÿ‘‰Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read...........
