*Topic: Take your time to chew.*
*Text: Joshua 1:1-18*๐Ÿ“–
*๐Ÿ”‘Key Verse: Joshua 1:8*
*[8]This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.*

๐Ÿ‘‰According to a science reports....................

Not chewing food properly, causes lots of problems in the body, which includes...

1. Indigestion of food.
2. Poor absorption of nutrients.
3. Increases the risk of food poisoning etc.

๐Ÿ‘‰The act of chewing mechanically, breaks down very large amount of food molecules into smaller particles.

๐Ÿ‘‰Chewing your food well allows the food to be exposed to your saliva for a longer period of time.

๐Ÿ‘‰This saliva helps to lubricate the food, thereby easing stress on your esophagus and contributing to the chemical procession of the food with the aid of the enzymes.

๐Ÿ‘‰Same effect gotten when you do not chew food properly, is experienced when you do not study the WORD as you ought to and meditate therein.

*๐Ÿ‘‰Note*: The WORD is not something you study or read in rush.
When you rush, misunderstanding the scripture is inevitable for you; observing the word will be done in error; and its expected impact will not manifest in your life.

      *Ponder on these...*

*How to mediate on the WORD*
1. Memorize a verse of the scripture daily.

2. Recall and recite them while you bath, cook,
Stroll, exercise, on bank queue, on traffic, in bed etc.

3. Think about their meaning....

4. Personalize their meaning....

5. Discuss the word from time to time.

   *Prayer point...*๐Ÿ™‡‍♀️๐Ÿ™‡‍♀️
Teach me your ways o lord, that I may follow thee....that I may always worship you, hence there is life in me. ๐Ÿ™

         *Shalom !*

And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.* ๐Ÿ‘‰When people interpret the passages of the Bible concerning the judgement of God, they tend to present it in a way to show that God is wicked and unforgiving because of judgements He introduced to enforce sanctity. ๐Ÿ‘‰And then it is the coming of His son that brought mercy, as if God is no longer merciful. But in all our thinking, we must note that man can not be more merciful or righteous than God. ๐Ÿ‘‰People were asked how a nation would be without constitution, and below were their responses: 1. In the absence of a constitution it will be difficult for a country to sustain itself in a long run. 2.Justice will be denied to the people and a chaotic si...

This specific duty on Aaron and his sons is also extended to us in a way. ๐Ÿ”‘The question is, if the command is extended to us, what part do we play? ๐Ÿ‘‰To ensure that the fire upon the altar burns continually God gave the high priesthood tips to follow and extending these responsibility to us, we must endeavor to do the following in conjunction with the Cohen. ๐Ÿ‘‰While the Cohen is instructed to burn incense daily, we are excepted to keep our altar of prayer burning. Pray without ceasing. ...

God spoke to Israel concerning a land they haven't even possessed. Can you imagine? ๐Ÿ‘‰We are familiar with the idea of Sabbaths of days, where the seventh is dedicated to God. But the case of Sabbatical year is not observed today due to some obvious circumstances. ๐Ÿ‘‰Nevertheless, the essence of this command reveals that every thing created by God deserves a rest. And at this rest period, He the creator, restores vital nutrients to the soil depleted by constant use. ๐Ÿ‘‰Now bringing the message home to us............ paraphrasing Leviticus 25:2 would read........... When you get that possession you so much...
